Car Meet Information - Please Read
Requested Arrival Time for Registered Show Cars
All show cars will be parked on the show side of the field (left side, see map below). Please aim to get to Denbies between 9:00 – 9:30am on Sunday 7th April so you can get parked up in place before the general public start arriving. The Car Meet will then officially run from 10am – 12:30pm
Important safety information for all car owners:
There will be a lot of people in the same area as the vehicles, so safety is an absolute priority given this will be a family-friendly event. Members of the Denbies Facilities Management Team will also be on-site overseeing the event, so please respect the following Denbies rules:
Drive considerately when entering the event field and do not exceed 10mph.
Pay special attention to the general public on-foot in the field when in your car.
Keep music volumes to an acceptable level.
No dangerous or irresponsible driving on Denbies private estate (drifting, donuts, burnouts, etc.). Anyone seen doing this will be asked to leave the location immediately.
Follow marshal instructions and guidance into the field where the cars will be parked.
Park in lines, boot-to-boot (see map for guidance), leaving enough space in front of your car for other vehicles to drive past you and park up further down the lines.
Wet Weather Back-up Plan
The forecast is looking good for Sunday 7th, but in the event of heavy rain the event will be taking a slightly different format:
We would instead be using the grasscrete area (location B – blue area on map) to show the cars. This area is much more limited on space & can only accommodate approximately 50 cars, so parking in this area will be on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, with space reserved for the YouTube Feature Cars.
Everyone else will be directed to the event field parking as normal, with show cars on the left side and general parking on the right side.
We do not envisage the field being particularly muddy as the weather has been dry lately, but please be aware the grass may be wet/slippery so extra care needs to be taken when driving on it. Remain under 10mph and under no circumstances should any cars attempt drifting, donuts, etc. which would cause damage to the field and result in Denbies asking you to leave their venue.
We look forward to seeing you at the LLF Meet!
